Kia announced updated pricing for its 2025 EV6 lineup which are assembled in West Point, Georgia with globally sourced parts. The vehicles may be eligible for $7500 tax credits.

Kia America has announced the pricing and updates for the 2025 EV6, its all-electric crossover, reflecting a blend of design enhancements and technological advancements. The 2025 EV6 lineup now starts at $42,900 for the base Light RWD model, marking a $300 increase from the previous year. The high-performance GT model sees the most significant price hike, rising by $2,200 to $63,800. An additional $1,475 destination fee applies to all models, an $80 increase over the previous year .​

Design and Technological Enhancements

The 2025 EV6 features Kia’s signature “Star Map” lighting on the full projection LED headlights and daytime running lights, contributing to a wider and more dynamic front appearance. The front bumper has been redesigned with sharper angles and character lines on the hood, adding depth to the overall design. At the rear, three-dimensional taillights with the Star Map design language and a visually wider bumper enhance the vehicle’s stance. New wheel designs and front and rear cladding with sharply angled side sill molding further refine the EV6’s profile .​

Inside, the EV6 now comes standard with dual 12.3-inch displays that integrate the digital instrument cluster and infotainment touchscreen. Kia’s next-generation Connected Car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC) system supports over-the-air updates, streaming, gaming, and a Wi-Fi hotspot. Automatic pop-out exterior door handles are now standard across all trims. An optional “Tech Package” is available on Light Long-Range configurations, offering advanced driver assistance features such as Surround View Monitor, Parking Distance Warning – Side, Blind-Spot View Monitor, and Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist – Reverse .​

Battery and Charging Improvements

The 2025 EV6 introduces larger battery packs across its lineup. The standard battery capacity increases from 58.0 kWh to 63.0 kWh in the Light trim, while the long-range battery grows from 77.4 kWh to 84.0 kWh in the Light Long-Range trim. Kia estimates that the long-range RWD configuration can achieve up to 319 miles of range, though this figure is pending official EPA certification .​

Charging has been enhanced with the relocation of the port to the left rear fender, reducing parking challenges at charging stations. Additionally, the EV6 adopts the North American Charging Standard (NACS), allowing broader compatibility with charging networks .​

Performance and Manufacturing

The EV6 GT model now delivers 601 horsepower, with up to 641 horsepower available in GT mode, providing a significant boost in performance. A new Virtual Gear Shift feature simulates gear shifts with visuals, engine sound effects, and tactile sensations through motor torque adjustments .​
