Honda Unveils Next-Gen Fuel Cell Module

Fresh from its global debut in Japan, Honda’s Next Generation Fuel Cell Module will be showcased in North America for the first time at the ACT Expo (April 28–May 1). Slated for production in 2027, the new module promises 50% lower production cost, double the durability, and three times the volumetric power density compared to its current model.

Honda will also display its Class 8 Hydrogen Fuel Cell Truck Concept, powered by three Honda FC modules, and its Fuel Cell Power Generator, a scalable stationary system (250 kW–3 MW) set for production in 2026. The 2025 CR-V e:FCEV, America’s first production plug-in hydrogen fuel cell vehicle, will also be featured.

The company is targeting four key hydrogen domains: FCEVs, commercial fuel cell vehicles, stationary power, and construction machinery. Honda is actively seeking business partnerships as part of its broader goal to reach carbon neutrality by 2050.

International Motors

International Motors, LLC will showcase its customer-focused, digitally enabled solutions at ACT Expo 2025 in Anaheim, California. These offerings emphasize simplifying fleet decarbonization, enhancing electric vehicle maintenance, and supporting financial accessibility.

Key highlights include end-to-end consulting services for electric readiness and infrastructure, as well as the debut of the all-electric Class 8 eRH Series tractor. The company also continues to support diesel customers with fuel-efficient options like the LT with the S13 Integrated Powertrain.

International’s new digital maintenance ecosystem enables proactive service planning, increasing uptime and operational efficiency. Planned maintenance service contracts are available for all electric trucks and buses, with flexible coverage and terms.

Additionally, the International Financial Payment Program provides easy access to bundled solutions, including service contracts for EVs, with no extra financing costs.

International eRH Series:

International Motors, LLC has launched the International® eRH™ Series, a new all-electric Class 8 regional haul tractor, ahead of its official debut at ACT Expo 2025 in Anaheim. Designed for regional and drayage fleet operations, the eRH offers up to 300 miles of range and comes in both 4×2 and 6×4 configurations.

Built on the diesel RH Series platform, the eRH is engineered for safety, visibility, and maneuverability, featuring the Bendix Fusion driver assistance system and ergonomic cab design. It uses high-density lithium NMC batteries ranging from 300kWh to 500kWh, supporting high payloads and efficient power delivery through tandem and single eAxle options.

The eRH includes three levels of regenerative braking and is supported by International’s infrastructure consulting, maintenance service contracts, and financing programs. ChargeTronix Unveils High-Powered EV Charging

ChargeTronix has announced the launch of its latest EV charging solutions, including the powerful 1,280 KW Nexus Distributed Charging System for commercial fleets and third-generation 240 KW chargers for both fleet and passenger vehicles. The Nexus system, the fastest of its kind, can charge Class 6 to 8 trucks to 80% in just 30 minutes and supports up to 16 charging outputs.

The new 240 KW chargers are designed for flexibility and speed, offering fast charging for light-duty vehicles in 20 minutes and heavy-duty vehicles in an hour. Key features include ADA-compliant screens, intelligent power distribution, and advanced safety measures such as smoke and flood detection.

OpConnect Unveils High-Powered Mark IV Dual-Port EV Charger

Designed for fleets, workplaces, and multi-unit dwellings, the Mark IV features dual 100-amp ports capable of delivering 19.2 kW each simultaneously—ensuring fast and reliable charging without splitting power. The charger supports multiple configurations, including dual J1772, dual NACS, or mixed connectors, and offers smart connectivity, flexible access options, and energy resilience features. Proterra Unveils H2-23 Battery & Onyx Series

Proterra Powered LLC has launched its new H2-23 battery pack as part of the Onyx Strata series, setting new performance standards for heavy-duty electric vehicles. Designed for Class 8 trucks and demanding commercial uses, the H2-23 features Proterra’s highest energy density yet—176 Wh/kg and 270 Wh/L—supporting systems up to 2MWh. It combines range, durability, and safety with compliance to SAE J1939 and ISO26262 standards. Debuting at the ACT Expo, the battery will appear in various OEM vehicles.
