Volkswagen 2025 Tiguan Upgraded Design and Technology

Volkswagen of America has announced pricing for its third-generation 2025 Tiguan, positioning the compact SUV as a more refined and technologically advanced contender in its segment. The starting price for the base S trim is set at $29,495 for front-wheel drive and $30,995 for models equipped with the brand’s 4Motion all-wheel-drive system. A destination charge of $1,425 applies to all trims.

With a redesigned exterior and a host of new features, the latest Tiguan aims to blend practicality with premium elements. The entry-level S model introduces 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, LED lighting, and a reconfigured cabin with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.9-inch infotainment display. Driver assistance technologies such as IQ.DRIVE and front and rear Park Distance Control come standard.

Moving up the lineup, the SE trim, which starts at $32,995 for front-wheel drive, adds 19-inch wheels, power-adjustable seating, a power tailgate, and Volkswagen’s new “Atmospheres” feature—an ambient lighting system that integrates with audio settings. A panoramic sunroof is available as an option.

For those seeking a sportier aesthetic, the SE R-Line Black, priced at $35,455 for front-wheel drive, features distinctive blacked-out styling elements, 20-inch wheels, and an upgraded interior with R-Line badging.

At the top of the range, the SEL R-Line, starting at $39,755, enhances the Tiguan with 20-inch silver alloy wheels, a 15-inch central display, Harman Kardon premium audio, and genuine wood trim. The cabin also offers ventilated leather seats with massage functionality, a head-up display, and additional ambient lighting options.

Safety remains a priority, with the new Tiguan featuring 10 airbags, including newly added center and driver knee airbags. The vehicle also offers expanded driver assistance features, including Hill Hold Assist and an electronic parking brake.

With its combination of affordability, technology, and an upscale driving experience, Volkswagen’s latest Tiguan arrives as a strong competitor in the ever-growing compact SUV market.
