SoundHound AI to Offer in Car Conversations at NIVIDIA GPU GTC

SoundHound AI, a leader in voice artificial intelligence, is set to highlight its latest advancements at the 2025 NVIDIA GPU Technology Conference (GTC) in San Jose, Calif., from March 17-21. The company, which specializes in conversational AI, will present its innovations at Booth #1842, demonstrating how voice technology is reshaping the in-car experience.

Among the highlights is SoundHound’s next-generation in-vehicle voice assistant, which integrates generative AI with NVIDIA’s DRIVE AGX platform. By leveraging large language models (LLMs) directly on edge devices, the system allows automakers to offer enhanced voice interactions without relying on cloud connectivity. In another major development, SoundHound will debut what it calls the first in-car voice commerce ecosystem—enabling drivers to place hands-free orders from popular restaurant brands while on the road. The technology, designed to bring added convenience to consumers, also represents new revenue opportunities for automakers and retailers.

“NVIDIA GTC is the perfect stage for SoundHound to showcase the future of voice AI,” said Keyvan Mohajer, the company’s co-founder and chief executive. “Our collaboration with NVIDIA and our voice commerce technology are set to redefine the in-vehicle experience.”

In addition to its booth presence, SoundHound will be featured in Oracle’s exhibition space, where it will demonstrate its AI-powered drive-thru ordering system, deployed at thousands of restaurants and retail locations. The company, whose technology is embedded in millions of devices and vehicles worldwide, continues to expand its footprint in automotive, smart devices, and enterprise AI applications.
