Honda Electrifies Rose Parade in 2026 with Electrified Dreams

For over three decades, Honda has been a proud partner of the Rose Parade®, and in 2025, the company will return with a float that encapsulates its bold vision for the future—”Electrified Dreams.” This float is not only a testament to Honda’s long-standing commitment to innovation but also a symbol of its ambitious goal to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, with zero emissions across all mobility products and operations.

The 2025 Rose Parade will see a historic first: a fully electrified fleet of vehicles leading the parade, marking a significant milestone in the event’s 136-year history. Among the fleet will be the Honda Prologue, the company’s first all-electric SUV, as well as the new Acura ZDX Type S, Acura’s first fully electric model, and the Honda Motocompacto, a compact e-scooter designed for urban mobility. The electrified procession signals a new chapter in the company’s electrification journey, underscoring its dedication to a sustainable, zero-emission future.

The “Electrified Dreams” float, designed to celebrate the harmony between nature and innovation, features a captivating design that incorporates organic materials and LED lights, symbolizing Honda’s commitment to environmental preservation. It also highlights the company’s vision for a future where sustainable mobility is accessible to all.

“We are thrilled to bring the power of ‘electrified dreams’ to the Rose Parade,” said Jennifer Symington, assistant vice president of Marketing for American Honda. “With the Honda Prologue, Acura ZDX, and the Honda Motocompacto, we’re showcasing how electrification can help achieve carbon neutrality while still delivering excitement and fun for all.”

The Honda float will be a central feature of the 2025 Rose Parade’s Opening Spectacular—“Best Day Ever”—which promises an unforgettable performance with extreme sports athletes, trampoline stunts, and dazzling pyrotechnics. The event will be further enlivened by musical performances from Aloe Blacc, the voice behind the global hit “Wake Me Up,” and Kiesza, whose dance tracks have dominated the Billboard charts.

The Honda fleet in the 2025 parade will include two groundbreaking vehicles: the all-electric Honda Prologue, which will serve as the Official Sound Car for the parade, and the high-performance Acura ZDX Type S, which will pace the event. The Prologue features an advanced Bose sound system and offers a spacious, tech-forward design that embodies Honda’s vision of sustainable, adventure-ready vehicles. The ZDX Type S, with nearly 500 horsepower, is Acura’s most powerful SUV to date, blending dynamic performance with cutting-edge electric technology.

Honda’s relationship with the Pasadena Tournament of Roses® spans over 60 years. Since its first collaboration in 1962, the company has provided vehicles for the Rose Parade, and in 2011, it became the first-ever presenting sponsor. Honda has been a float participant since 1977 and has served as the official vehicle provider for the event since 1994.

With its deep roots in America, Honda continues to strengthen its presence by employing over 30,000 associates and operating 12 major manufacturing facilities in the U.S. The company’s commitment to building products close to customers is reflected in its efforts to produce a wide range of vehicles using both domestic and global parts. In 2023, 70% of all Honda and Acura vehicles sold in the U.S. were made in America.

Honda’s 2025 Rose Parade appearance is more than just a celebration of a century-old tradition; it’s a powerful statement about the company’s ongoing journey toward a sustainable, electrified future.
