Volkswagen ID. Buzz Buzz

After the successful introduction of the Volkswagen ID. Buzz is the newest addition to the growing fleet of Volkswagen all-electric vehicles and is anticipated to go on sale in Europe later this year — a long-wheelbase model is planned to debut for the North American market in 2023 and go on sale in 2024.

“Volkswagen is taking the lead in electromobility in a transformative way and the debut of ID. Buzz in New York is another exciting example of our progress,” said Scott Keogh, President and CEO, Volkswagen Group of America. “We have accelerated the transformation to electromobility in the U.S. and we plan to continue leading this charge.”

The in-person return of the auto show will be marked by an all-new Electric Vehicle Test Track, which will occupy the entire first floor of the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in Manhattan, New York. Show visitors will be able to take a ride in a wide range of electric vehicles including the Volkswagen ID.4 EV.

Hyundai

Hyundai will show its significantly enhanced Palisade SUV before its global debut at the New York International Auto Show on April 13 at 9:45 a.m. EDT.

The design of the new Palisade conveys dignified refinement with clear differentiation worthy of a flagship SUV. A wider cascading grille form outlines rugged parametric shield elements for a premium appearance. The new forward lighting signature features vertically-connected LED composite lights that frame the grille creating a sharp-edged, technical appeal. New, multi-spoke alloy wheels fill the wheel openings for a solid, premium appearance.

Kia America returns to the New York International Auto Show next week with the North American debut of the all-new 2023 Niro. As a key component to Plan S, the brand’s ambitious electrification and sustainability initiative, the Niro arrives sporting many of the design cues first seen on the Habaniro concept, including the unique and aerodynamic panel along the C-pillar. Other hints at Niro’s concept-car origins may be found in the dramatically designed LED headlights and high-mounted taillights. Inside is a cabin briming with technology, driver assist features and generous cargo capacity. Debuting in hybrid, plug-in hybrid and pure electric EV variants, the Niro will roll across the Kia display stand Wednesday, April 13, at 10:10 AM Eastern time and will be streamed live across Kia America’s social channels and may also be viewed at Kia.com.
