Allstate Insurance offers data analytics on the safety drivers and their zodiac signs and helping drivers when their vehicles break down. The company has found that Virgos are the worst drivers and are planning to offer Good Hands Rescue to help vehicle drivers to get home when their car is towed or disabled.
Allstate Roadside Services is expanding its relationship with Lyft. The roadside assistance leader and the fastest growing rideshare company in the U.S. are now working together to pilot an alternative transportation option for select drivers who need to continue to their final destination after their vehicle breaks down. Allstate successfully launched the Continued Mobility pilot in 2017 to provide this service to drivers using one of its luxury OEM brands and Allstate’s Good Hands Rescue service. Allstate Roadside is planning on a rapid expansion of the Continued Mobility program in 2018.
The new Continued Mobility Service is unique in the industry. Traditionally, roadside assistance customers have had to resort to either catching a ride in the tow truck or waiting for a friend or family member to pick them up from the scene of a tow. With Continued Mobility Service, Allstate Roadside Services is giving customers the convenient option to continue on their way with a ride from Lyft.

Virgos, known to be critical, meticulous and reserved, are also more likely to get into a car accident, according to Allstate Insurance, which recently compared claims data against the recently “revised” zodiac calendar.
Over the past year, Virgos were nearly 700 percent more likely to be in a car accident when compared to the determined and aware Scorpio, the best drivers in the study. Perhaps a Virgo’s shy, perfectionist nature leads to overly cautious and timid driving habits. By contrast, Scorpios were only involved in 1.5 percent of all accidents in 2010.
The “new” sign, Ophiuchus, faired well in the study as the second-safest drivers on the road. While the jury is still out on the exact characteristics of an Ophiuchus, most astrologers seem to indicate individuals born under this sign will be a bit luckier than the rest.
But, can an astrological sign really influence driving habits?
Generally, the signs with the fewest number of reported accidents were those associated with traits like “compassion,” “graciousness” and “resourcefulness” where those with more accidents tended to be more “uncompromising,” “arrogant” and “impatient.”
