Logitech has brough Amazon Alexa to bring Alexa voice control to the Logitech ZeroTouch Air Vent and Logitech ZeroTouch Dashboard smart car mounts for Android smartphones. Now, you can use Logitech ZeroTouch and your voice to interact with Alexa and for all kinds of Alexa skills such as the time, weather or even to reduce the stress of commuting through Feel-Goodies. With the ZeroTouch you speak to Alexa just like you with your Amazon Echo, Dot or Tap using an Android smartphone and app.
The devies are reasonably price at Amazon. ZeroTouch Air Vent Car Mount, for Android Phones 5.0 and above– costs $44.70 and comes in four colors. Logitech ZeroTouch smart car mounts let you use your voice to place calls, text back and forth and engage with apps, such as Yelp, all without using your hands.
Logitech claims it is the only car mount with voice control and Alexa integration. You can control your phone with a wave and the sound of your voice. For Alexa skills, wave to activate your phone, then speak as you would with Alexa at home. The mount offers hands-free Text, Calling, Chat, Music, Navigation, Email, and Calendar along with any Alexa Skill set. You magnetically snap your phone into place to activate the app without the need for taps, menus or unlocking
Now, with Alexa, you can do more while keeping your hands on the wheel and eyes on the road, including:
Quickly access the weather, news or Alexa skils such as the viral Feel-Goodies that can make anyone’s day better. You can also add to-do lists, order products from the road, or listen to your favorite Kindle books from the road during a long drive.
“We’re excited to collaborate with Logitech to bring Alexa into the vehicle,” said Aaron Brown, Director of Amazon Alexa. Logitech continues to update the voice-controlled app.
The newly updated ZeroTouch app with the Alexa feature is now available in the U.S. and UK for free on the Google Play store. Users need an Amazon account to access the newest Alexa feature within the ZeroTouch app.
