AutoMoblity LA Auto Show Car Debuts & Discounts – Deals for Dealers, Designers, Government Officials, Startups & Investors

laautoshosignThere will be many new car models debuts at AutoMobility LA trade days that will on display at the LA Auto Show. Today there were several news releases and reports revealing new models today. Here’s what we have so far.

Automotive industry professional still have to register for AutoMobility LA including analysts, graphic artists, technology providers, startups, automakers, auto-suppliers, car dealers, designers, government officials, investors, advertisers tech companies, investors and manufacturers  The standard pass gets you inot the exhibit hall, technology pavillion and announcements. The all-access pass includes the conferences and tours of the show. AUTO Connected Car News re can use ACCN2016 to save $200 off the all access pass.

Among the more than 20 world debuts will be introductions by Alfa Romeo, Mazda, MINI, Subaru, Volkswagen and a Jeep. There will models introduced. Infiniti, Jaguar Land Rover and smart. Audi, Mercedes-Benz and Nissan will have multiple reveals, while Porsche has five debuts.

General Motors (GM) will have multiple global and North American debuts, including two reveals from Chevrolet. Cadillac’s debut lineup will include the Escala concept car, which has only been seen on the Concept Lawn at the 2016 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

Ford Eco Sport Spotted

A local LA photographer spied a camouflouged new Ford Eco Sport compact crossover that will be shown on Monday.

2018 Chevy Equinox

The redesigned 2018 Chevrolet Equinox will make its public auto show debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show. Equinox sales have reached nearly 2 million since its launch and it is Chevrolet’s second-best-selling vehicle after the Silverado.2018 Equinox  offers Chevrolet’s latest connectivity technologies, including 7- and 8-inch-diagonal MyLink infotainment systems designed to support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as an available OnStar 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot. (Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility is subject to their terms, privacy statements and data plan rates, as well as a compatible smartphone.). It also fetures rear seat remind and many ADAS featues.

Offering an expressive design, the latest connectivity, more safety features and a trio of propulsion choices — including the segment’s only turbo-diesel — the all-new Equinox is a fresh and modern compact SUV.

“The all-new 2018 Chevrolet Equinox is a modern SUV sized and designed to meet the needs of the compact SUV customer,” said Alan Batey, president of GM North America and brand chief, Global Chevrolet. “We’ve got the strongest truck business in the industry and we’ve reinvigorated our car lineup with Volt, Cruze and Malibu. Now we are focusing on growing our crossover/SUV business, starting with the Chevrolet Equinox.”

The 2018 Equinox goes on sale in the first quarter of 2017 in North America.

As the first of a new generation of vehicles on an all-new platform, the 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia and Giulia Ti models embody Alfa Romeo’s La meccanica delle emozioni (the mechanics of emotion) spirit, delivering race-inspired performance with a class-leading 276 horsepower, advanced technologies that include the available Alfa Q4 all-wheel-drive system, seductive Italian style and an exhilarating driving experience to the premium mid-size sedan segment. As the “halo” model in the lineup, Giulia Quadrifoglio highlights Alfa Romeo’s motorsport knowhow with a best-in-class, 505-horsepower, 2.9-liter bi-turbo V-6 engine that earns the title of the most powerful Alfa Romeo production car engine ever and the quickest with a class-leading 0-60 mph time of 3.8 seconds, plus it enabled a record-setting Nürburgring lap time.

The handcrafted 2017 Alfa Romeo 4C and 4C Spider represent the purest form of La meccanica delle emozioni, with their race-inspired, mid-engine design and state-of-the-art, Formula 1-inspired carbon fiber monocoque chassis that enables an incredible power-to-weight ratio and with advanced technologies, including the all-aluminum 1750 turbocharged and intercooled engine with direct-injection and dual variable-valve timing, which enables supercar-level performance, including 0-60 mph in 4.1 seconds.

Jeep Renegades

Two new Jeep Renegade models will make their debut at the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show, providing customers with two new and unique special editions for the most capable small SUV on the market. The new 2017 Jeep Renegade Altitude model arrives in showrooms later this month, while the Renegade Deserthawk model arrives in January.

Four New Nisssans

Two new 2017 Nissan will be seen at the LA Auto, the 2017 Versa Note  and JUKE Black Pearl Edition that will be joined by two additional world debuts on November 15th and 16th in Los Angeles.

Inside, the 2017 Versa Note includes a number of customer input-driven changes, such as larger cupholders, the addition of a second 12-volt outlet for SV, SR and SL trims and the relocation of the first 12-volt outlet and USB auxiliary port to the front of the center console.

The top-of-the-line Versa Note SL features a range of special equipment, including NissanConnect with Navigation and Mobile Apps, 5.8-inch color touch-screen display, Nissan Voice Recognition for navigation and audio, SiriusXM Traffic, SiriusXM Travel Link (SiriusXM subscription required, sold separately), class-exclusive Around View Monitor, heated front seats, heated side view mirrors and 16-inch aluminum-alloy wheels.

The Black Pearl Edition interior offers ample roominess and space for five adults. The combination of the fold-down 60/40-split bench seat and flat load floor provides passenger and cargo hauling flexibility. Standard features include RearView Monitor5, Nissan Intelligent KeyTM with Push Button Ignition, USB connection port for iPod® interface and other compatible devices, Bluetooth Hands-free Phone System, 5.0-inch color display, Streaming audio via Bluetooth, Siri Eyes Free and Hands-free Text Messaging Assistant.

Nissan will also show another two new models.

New Porsche Panamera

At the Los Angeles Auto Show, Porsche will show off the Panamera luxury sport sedan with a new 330 hp V6 turbo gasoline engine, along with an extended wheelbase Executive version as yet another body option.  Executive models with their 5.9 inch (150 millimeter) longer wheelbase expand the body and equipment portfolio at the top end of the model line. The Executive models will be available in the all-wheel drive versions Panamera 4 Executive (330 hp), Panamera 4 E-Hybrid Executive (462 hp), Panamera 4S Executive (440hp) and Panamera Turbo Executive (550 hp).

The new Porsche Panamera Executive versions are equipped even more exclusively. The standard features are supplemented with a large panoramic roof, heated comfort seats with multi-way electrical adjustment in the front and rear, and adaptive air suspension with an electronically controlled damper system (Porsche Active Suspension Management / PASM).

Sign the One-Millionth Mazda MX-5 Miata.

The one-millionth Mazda MX-5 Miata has traveled throughout much of the world this year, already reaching fans all over the U.S. and Canada. Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) is proud to announce that it will be making one last tour stop at the Los Angeles Auto Show from November 18-27.

“We have been fortunate to have the one-millionth MX-5 on our shores since August, giving enthusiasts from the U.S. and around the world the opportunity to be a part of both Mazda history and a milestone for the automotive industry,” said Robert Davis, senior VP, U.S. Operations, MNAO. “This MX-5 shows just how far we’ve come—from a little company with big ideas to a torchbearer for defying convention and keeping the thrill of driving alive for everyone.”

In all, more than 4,000 people in North America have autographed the one-millionth MX-5. Mazda executives, engineers and employees have signed in its trunk and underneath its hood. Many engineers have signed parts they helped develop on the fourth-generation roadster, such as suspension arms and on the engine.

For its last hurrah in the U.S., the one-millionth MX-5—a 1.5-liter, right-hand-drive, Japanese-spec model—will be placed in the Ride & Drive area outside the Los Angeles Convention Center, where those who register to test-drive Mazda vehicles on public days will have the opportunity to sign the car. Signing will take place during normal auto show hours until all signature spots are filled but the 1,920 spots allocated for its final tour stops in Australia and New Zealand.

Plug-In MINI Countryman

MINI will reveal the new MINI Countryman is the first model to be available with a plug-in hybrid drive. In the form of the MINI Cooper S E Countryman ALL4 has a range of up to 40 kilometres running on electricity alone.
