Customers with active BMW Assist accounts can log in to the portal and personalize ConnectedDrive features. New BMW Assist and ConnectedDrive customers can create accounts to manage services for their cars.
The ConnectedDrive Store allows customers to review services that are already subscribed to their vehicles.Customers can now buy or extend service subscriptions directly from their BMWs with the services available quickly.
The ConnectedDrive store also offers apps that are automatically updated to the car.
BMW claims it is the first automaker with a comprehensive, in-vehicle store for purchasing telematics services.
The My BMW ConnectedDrive portal will expand in the future with more personalized services.
The BMW Assist Safety Plan is part of BMW ConnectedDrive, is included at no cost for four years from the buyer’s BMW’s in-service date.
ConnectedDrive navigation services include stolen vehicle locating, door unlock, enhanced roadside assistance, real-time traffic information, weather and traffic dictation. Driver can connect to BMW Assist response. center with the SOS button in the car.
Concierge service includes talking to a representative for suggestions for dinning, travel, movies and places to go.
Spotify/Deezer/Glympse/GoPro/Amazon Music now work with BMW ConnectedDrive and the iDrive controller. Last July, there was a BMW ConnectedDrive outage.
