CEA CES call for connected car safety products/services deadline 8/15

otterappThe Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) is working on a technical report,  showing consumer electronic products and services that make driving  safer.

The report coming at at the 2015 International CES, January 6-9, 2015 in Las Vegas.

Companies that offer products or services to increase driver safety and reduce distracted driving should to submit descriptions to appear in the report.

Providers of such products and service must submit a Word document containing the product or service description (maximum 750 words) to report@standards.ce.org. Graphic images (jpg format preferred) can also be submitted.

The deadline for submitting content is Friday, August 15, 2014, at 5 PM PDT. All content will be edited and approved by CEA and its Portable, Handheld and In-Vehicle Electronics Committee.

Portable Handheld and In-Vehicle Electronics Committee develops standards, bulletins and other technical publications that address portable and handheld consumer electronics products, and consumer electronics products used in private and commercial vehicles, boats and aircraft.
