The 2015 Cadillac ATS Coupe will come with OnStar 4G LTE and CUE apps and will be the most connected Cadillac to date. Soon all new model Cadillacs with have connected car technology.The ATS Coupe will offer OnStar 4GLTE internet access for the driver and passengers, that provides up to seven in-car devices with Wi-Fi hotspots. OnStar 4G LTE data packages and pricing will be announced later this year.
On the 8″ touchscreen are apps form the CUE Collections such as iHeart Radio, Slacker Radio, NPR and the Weather Channel. Cue now has Text-to-Voice for smartphone users with Bluetooth profile (M.A.P) to read out incoming text messages on the car speakers.
Also in the package is Siri Eyes Free for iPhone iOS 6 and iOS 7 users. The iPhone connects to CUE via Bluetooth The driver talks to Siri with the steering wheel voice activation button.
OnStar 4G LTE will be standard on all 2015 Cadillac models. The CUE Collection will be standard on all 2015 Cadillac models with CUE. Both technologies will roll out across the model lineup through the second half of 2014.
12 months of OnStar Directions and Connections come with new Cadillac purchases. OnStar RemoteLink Key Fob Services lets owners lock or unlock doors, activate the horn and lights, and remote start with the OnStar RemoteLink smartphone app. The Key Fob Services are included for five years for Cadillac vehicles in the U.S. and Canada.
AT&T and Audi, recently announced pricing for its 4G LTE service.
